She has more than 20 years of experience providing legal advice to large and medium companies. Furthermore, she specializes in redundancies in force, labor litigation, health and safety and labor compliance. The sectors to which Aurora´s expertise extends include automotive, pharmaceutical, FMCG, hotel trade, telecommunications, ports, contact centers, retail and insurance. In addition, Aurora has a deep knowledge of Employment and Social Security regulations.
Aurora joined Grant Thornton in 2014 to reinforce its Labor & Employment Department in Spain. Before joining Grant Thornton, she worked for 13 years at Baker & McKenzie Law Firm as Partner and at European Legal Advisors Law Firm for 5 years as a Lawyer.
Aurora graduated in Law from Pompeu Fabra University and studied a master´s degree in EU Law at the Universidad Autónoma of Barcelona. She also obtained a Master in Prevention of Occupational Risks offered by the Universidad Politécnica of Cataluña and a PDG at IESE.
Aurora is member of the BAR association of Barcelona, Vocal of the Advisory Board of “Món Jurídic” BAR publication, member of the European Labor Law Association, and of FORELAB (Spanish Professional Employment Association). She collaborates as an associated professor in UIC. Member of the ESADE Law School Professional Advisory Board. She is also, President of the Labour Commission of AIAL Association.
