Jakob Widner heads the firm´s labor and employment law practice and has many years of experience in advising on the employment aspects of restructurings, corporate transactions, business and company sales and acquisitions, employee benefit arrangements and executive service contracts, including social plans and pension and stock option plans. He is also counseling on all issues concerning collective bargaining and labor relations and is representing clients before court in all employment-related matters.

Jakob Widner also practices in the area of life sciences and advises on the structuring of distribution channels, restrictions on advertising and competition and regulatory issues.

Employment Law Practice:

The group advises – inter alia – businesses on labor law matters in connection with corporate restructurings and mergers & acquisitions; negotiates individual and collective labor law related agreements (including works agreements and social plans) and represents individuals and businesses before labor courts.

The practice group handles all administrative matters for expatriates (including residence and work permit applications) and advises on data protection issues.
