Maarten specialises in employment law and employee benefits with particular emphasis on litigation and alternative dispute resolution (e.g. mediation). Maarten brings with him 17 years of experience in advising corporates, financial institutions and executives operating internationally, on stand-alone employment law matters and on the employment law aspects of mergers, acquisitions, closures and relocations of businesses.

Maarten advises and litigates on a broad range of Dutch and European employment matters. He has particular expertise and experience in the areas of executive hiring and firing, business restructurings and downsizing of (European) workforces, compliance and investigations, health and safety of employees, restrictive covenants and unfair competition.
